We wanted to alert the community about a big event taking place 3/8 - 3/10: The 2024 Dew Tour (which features Men's + Women's Ski/Board Halfpipe and Head 2 Head Ski/Snowboard Streetstyle - a rail yard competition - featuring the world's best). We're at Dew Tour this week doing media so peep our Instagram for updates, athlete interviews, and shots from Copper.

Rumor has it thelifty feels like a spider monkey and already has an athlete prop pool going for who has the highest air among other members of the media.

Beaver Mountain Rail Jam

Not to be forgotten, your favorite competition's favorite competition is taking place at Beaver Mountain featuring Skian tomorrow (3/9). 1-2 more judges are needed and food and a free lift pass are included so reach out to Ian if interested. No worries if can't go Mach 5 into a rail or 270 on back swap 270 out in a cast like Skian, it's open to all. Here is the schedule:

Skiers Powered by 200mg of Caffeine

After being on idX for the last month, everyone below might need to go to their doctor. Not for the amount of caffeine they consumed or a Type-2 diabetes check, but just to make sure they aren't a different species.

‍drew.flores set the tone by Pushin' P, turning a Cork 7 into a massive and first Dub Cork 10, joining the illusive Dub Cork club on idX with jamison.tidwell. Leading the edit train on idX and crowd pleasers, Jamison also managed to make an argument that he should be in Dew Tour with this 4P2.

Also on the west coast, we have no clue if they inject the water with Dew in Washington, but we had zac.sureman sending another 30ish foot disaster onto an octo kick and then gaffer doing a front swap on the Mission Ridge Monstrosity. I'm not going to lie, this park puts the rail yard at Three Kings to shame. This park has more step downs and kinks than a nursing home. Plus at White Pass, ndvski has let the world know that the 270 on is on 🔒.

Finally, ethan.connell and blendbuster2 opened a new dimension in the idX universe with ethan.connell throwing 2 idX NBDs, a Switch Overflip and a Switch Flat 3 along with blendbuster2 jibbing on a dumpster. Three clips in a nutshell of why I love this community.

A Ripple Through the idX Universe

I'm not going to lie, I thought we would see mostly skiers on idX this year. It's not a bad thing, we love both equally, but including the entire ski and snowboard community on idX is something we aim to do.This all changed when the fire nation attacked conyayeasttt and Jude_York started uploading and throwing down all the basics to start pushing progression along with showing the love to everyone else on idX.

Along with that, Vibe god bake_groot was adding to the bag with all types of 270 outs from front boards to front lips, eagermeerkat9 put down this absurd tame dog to switch, and ByronBend stomped a 3 that is a staple of the side hit assassins.

No Winter No Problem

From what we can tell, winter out east has been like getting blue balls ejecting from a rotation mid air and getting rocked by an icy landing: started out great, but hasn't been the best this month.

Fortunately, that doesn't stop the park from operating, as full_mast and yvng._brady are both back on idX. We also saw a sick edit called Locally Developed from cravingcolt888 featuring a high consequence switch lip onto an S-Rail and some nice butter action leading to a switch lip front 2 out.

Double Dave the Daffy God, dave_can_do_it, is also proving that all jumps are flat 3'able, and we got insight from shady that we have to add Mork (not Mooking) and Bork to the tags (we're understanding not truly corked or truly bio'd rotation).

Congrats once again to shady for the King of Killington crown and the sponsor success too.

Finally, we got RideLikeHellCat pushing P (or is it pushing T?) out of Talma, Finland with a 540 stomped after landing a cork 3 earlier in the season. We are worldwide.

idX Devology

We just moved headquarters but we are still in the Sugar House area in SLC. New headquarters means new feature announcements. We developed boards. Some are public to everyone, and some are private to Tow Rope Pass subscribers. This one is the consecutive days clips have been uploaded, we got to reset the counter after 10ish days, but we'll break this record soon.

We're going to be working on improving commenting and liking next along with adding some stuff that we think will energize the community.
